How it is calculated
On the New York clock, daylight saving included: Asia 20:00 to 24:00, London open 02:00 to 05:00, New York open 07:00 to 10:00, London close 10:00 to 12:00, start included, end excluded, by the bar's start time. A trading day runs from 17:00 to 17:00 and takes the date of its end, so Sunday evening's Asia is Monday's; with Days Monday to Friday only those trading days count. A zone's high and low run from its first bar.
Reference: ICT kill zones on the New York clock: Asia 20 to 24, London open 02 to 05, New York open 07 to 10, London close 10 to 12
How to read it
The flags are 1 inside a zone and 0 outside, on every bar. A zone's high and low grow while it runs and then hold until the same zone starts on the next trading day, so the Asian range stays readable through London. A bar counts by its start time and the zones start on the hour, so use H1 or finer.
In a strategy
Trade only in the New York open: with k = ctx.ind("killzones", days="mon_fri") take entries while k.new_york_open is 1, and watch for a sweep of k.asia_high or k.asia_low in London.
