How it is calculated
Swings as in structure. At a confirmed swing high, the candle of the extreme counts when its upper wick (high minus the higher of open and close) is above zero and at least min_wick times its range: the bearish block runs from that body edge up to the high. A swing low with a long lower wick gives a bullish block from the low up to the lower body edge. It ends on a close through its far side.

How to read it
The variant of ICT's public description, on the one candle of the swing extreme. A block shows when the swing is confirmed, length bars after the wick, never earlier. The lines show the nearest bullish block (the highest) and bearish one (the lowest); at most max_zones per side are kept.
In a strategy
Sell into the wick: with r = ctx.ind("rejection_block", length=3, min_wick=0.5) a short limit at r.bear_bottom with the stop above r.bear_top, the wick's tip.
